Hi! I’m André, a visual development artist from Perú based in San Francisco. I currently collaborate with art direction and visdev at an SF based animation studio, and continue to develop my personal projects. My work is shaped by themes of identity, queerness, and the influence of my Peruvian roots. I like to tell stories about transformation, becoming, and belonging, which is why I find so much comfort in fantasy: it helps me express inner struggles through creatures, unexpected characters, and imaginary worlds.
